Using Functions in Queries

Rounding a value up to a whole number by PaulBricker
Posted: 14 Oct 03 (Edited 15 Oct 03)

I have seen this question asked a number of times.  To do this in a query you would use this expression.

MyRoundedNumber:-1 * Int(-1 * [NumberField])

To do this in a Report or Form textbox you would put the expression in the Control Source for the texbox

=-1 * Int(-1 * [NumberField])

This expression works for both positive and negative numbers.
