Directory Tree layout by mrn
Posted: 10 Jun 03

I came across this handy one liner the other day. It produces a directory tree in the following style

.
|
|--/var
|   |_tmp
|-bin
|-input

find . -type d -print | sed -e 's;[^/]*/;|____;g;s;____|; |;g'

all on one line

the ____ is _ _ _ _ without the spaces
