What is DynAPI? by missbarbell
Posted: 9 May 03

For anyone not familiar with the code of the dynamic aspects of JavaScript, but wants to harness their capabilities. DynAPI is something worth considering.

DynAPI was started by Dan Steinman, and has since become a respected Open Source project, hosted on SourceForge [1].

The package can be downloaded and installed as a set of flat javascript files, which are then incorporated into your HTML/JavaScript files. There are help files, examples and documents to help you along, as well as the documentation [2] and examples [3] available via the website.

The power of DynAPI was originally to provide Dynamic HTML scripting across the two main browsers, IE and Netscape Navigator (the Dynamic Duo), but now works equally well on many other browsers and platforms thanks largely to the open source contributions.

For a full list of DynAPI's capabilities, check the website and see how it can help you.
