Posted: 11 Mar 03 (Edited 6 Jun 03)

The following are the best resources I have seen for SSI,

Zytrax
http://www.zytrax.com/tech/web/ssi.htm
Excellent site with well explained tutorials on SSI. Good section on configuring your Apache server.

The XSSI Library
http://ordersomewherechaos.com/~rosso/xssi/
Excellent site, goes through all the basics, commands, troubleshooting and gives some excellent code examples to play with.

Big Nose Bird
http://www.bignosebird.com/ssi.shtml
Another Excellent website, covers all the basic with good explanations.

Jigsaw SSI
http://www.w3.org/Jigsaw/Doc/User/SSI.html
Very useful site. Covers much the same as the other sites BUT shows you how to query a database!!

Web Developers Virtual Library
http://www.wdvl.com/Authoring/SSI/Intro/index.html
Just covers the basics, well explained and some other useful links.

Apache Tutorial to SSI
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/howto/ssi.html
Good for beginners, goes into the basics.

Chapter 5 of an O'Reilly book
http://www.oreilly.com/info/cgi/ch05.html
Pretty decent place to start learning but does not go into majour detail. Suitable for beginner level.
