SM56 Modem and Windows XP

Can SM56 Modems be installed under WinXP? by jimwestjr

Sure. Windows must detect the modem 1st and try to install. You must then point the install wizard to the install files.
Press "continue" on the compatibility pop up window and the install should be clean.
If you need a set of files that should cover Multi-languages, Mulit-platform, go here to download one that worked for me on a Gateway Astro and XP Professional.
