How To

Get rid of that [FrontPage Save Results Component] by MrKovacic
Posted: 6 Nov 02

This is usually removed automatically when you publish to a website with FP server extensions.... Usually!

When it does'nt, go into the HTML view and where you see:

<strong>[FrontPage Save Results Component]</strong><!--webbot
    bot="SaveResults" endspan -->

Replace it with:

<!-- <strong>[FrontPage Save Results Component]</strong> --><!--webbot
    bot="SaveResults" endspan -->

Deleteing the text simply wont work because FP will just put it back. You have to add the comment markers to make it look like a comment. FP will not realize what you did. The comment marker loo like this:

<!-- my comments -->

where that will only show in the HTML.

cool huh? :)
