QBasic FAQ

A quick often unknown pause trick. by quebasic
Posted: 19 Jul 02 (Edited 23 Jul 02)

If no input is need from the user, but you want to pause until the user presses a key, just type "sleep".  When no time is specified with it, it waits until a key is pressed.  This is not good if you are going to use inkey$ for input directly after the sleep, as the input seeps out to the inley$ command.
