If you bought a second hand Bay switch (like as Bay 310), sometimes it was be protected by password.  You want to reset the password and delete all configurations, the tips is:
Before you power on your Bay 310, connect your console first.  When Bay 310 start, you can see the whole start process.  There is a prompt line during the power on: "Press . <Enter> to enter the boot option", they you can type "." and "Enter".

Select 3 to reset it to delete the password.

When your switch restart, it will ask your password, just press "Enter" key (Becasue there is no password now).
