W2K Machine Description

How do I change the machine description in Windows 2000. by dxd
Posted: 7 Sep 00

Right Click on My Computer and select Manage.

Once the Computer Management Console opens, right click on
Computer Management (Local) and select properties.

Click on the Network Identification tab and enter the machine description.

Machine descriptions can be useful in a Netbios environment to help further identify a machine in addition to the computer name.
