Dreamweaver Management

How do I backup all of my site definitions? by derren
Posted: 26 Mar 02

If you are looking for a backup and restore facility for Dreamweaver and Ultradev sites (and we have all lost them and had to start again) look no further! Go to

http://youneedawebstore.com/resources.htm

and download the free registry utilities for the Dreamweaver of your choice. This backs up all of your sites along with their passwords.

I have been using this superb and simple application for months and it has really saved my bacon, you can even backup your DW config for panels, layout, preferences - the lot.

Use it!

[I know there is a Macromedia extension to do this but I found it to be counter intuitive and frankly a bit lame.]
