Why won't my second dispaly adapter work in Windows 2000 when it work okay in Windows 98 by HappyFrank
Posted: 16 Aug 01

Some graphics cards (mainly S3 chipsets) will not work as a secondary adapter in win2k due to the way the chipsets work with the PC's bios, this problem does not effect windows 98.

Check out www.realtimesoft.com/multimon for more information and a database of known working card combinations.
