Hi,

As part of a larger program to improve all the processes in our company, we are evaluating the possibility of implementing RUP (or maybe another methodology) in our company. Our objective is to promote software development best practices among our employees.

If we aquire RUP:
- How easy is it to change its content in order to adapt it to the way our company works, and probably make it a little bit more lightweight? Is there any tool for this purpose?
- I have heard about EUP (Enterprise Unified Process) Does anybody have experience with it? How is it presented (format)? Is it free?
- What is your oppinion about XP?
- Do you know of any software tool that facilitates the deployment of a software development methodology?
- We are thinking about collecting best practices and techniques to build our own methodology, do you think it is a good idea? How would you do it? By constructing a set of web pages?
- How would you make the chosen methodology accessible by our employees? via web?
- In general, What are your recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your responses,
Fran
