Removing Socket Linger

Removing Socket Linger

(OP)
Howdy

I've been using a socket connection which i created in Dibol to talk to my work computer for the past while now but have recently been presented with a problem. A new program on my work computer only accepts socket connections "with the Socket Linger option turned off" -their words not mine.

I've been trying to read up on socket linger but have found no info on it relating to Dibol.

Is there an option to remove socket linger in Dibol? or do i just need to set up a timer to remove the connection manually?

Thanx for any help
TheSaltyDuke
