Web Class Error

Web Class Error

(OP)
I want to write IIS applications using Visual Basic 6. When I open an IIS Application Project I get this error.

Internet Information Server or Peer Web Services  version 3.0 or later must be installed to run webclasses

But I have the following configuration:

Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4, IE5.0
All IIS5.0 components are installed
and I am using the Administrator Account

Whats wrong?

RE: Web Class Error

Here is the solution to your problem - I just happened to have the same problem, and found it on Microsoft's site:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;248418

You need to have the ASP 2.0 Type Library Installed.  Windows 2000 jumps the gun and has 3.0 installed by default.  Hope this helps.
