Hi,

What could be the possibility that we hit into this problem during LANDesk v6.6 deployments ?

thanks !

Updates...

in the Desktop Manager (installed on different server node), through the Network View, when I clicked on the target computer, which I tried to have communication between the host and the target, it showed an error message "Unable to communicate with the Remote Control agent using address <ip address>.

I don't expert on this s/w and have no idea how to fix it!
I even tried to run the Inventory Scan program on the target computer, but ended up no help!

Check the Remote Control service on the Client machine.  Most likely you will need to reinstall the LANDesk Client on the affected machines.

Hi Roger,

Do you have a list of error messages (shown in Scheduled Task) that we will encounter during deployments?

Please let me know what do you think if I have more questions to ask for your help through emails ?

If you agree, please reply me at csjaring@myjaring.net

thank you,
CS

Well, I think it's reasonable to reinstall on those machines that may be didn't have the Landesk clients install correctly and have never been used in deploying any s/w or packages.

How about for those have been deploying and once a while we still hit the error? and after 2nd or 3rd attempts to retry, still getting the same error "Cannot Find Agent"?
