All my computers are in the same Workgroup. When I try to do a remote install from my server (XP) to a client (XP)which is logged as admin, I have the message :
"the account specified does not have administrator privileges" (??).
Can someone help me ?
Thank you.

Hi

Try this..

User login :- <machinename>\username

If you still have the same problem disable the firewall on the target machine and try to install eTrust AV.

Hope this help

eTrust has two patches to solve this difficulty that are post sp2 related. Check out their site, download the patches and it works fine.

Hi,

This has to be done on the target machines
Under Local Security Policies->Security Settings->Local Policies->Security
->Network Access: Sharing and security model for local accounts
Change the value from default GUEST ONLY to CLASSIC

apply the following patch:
http://supportconnect.ca.com/sc/solcenter/sol_detail.jsp?aparno=QO64413&os=NT&returninput=0&;prev=true

cheers
