Shiva Lan Rover E/ Plus

Shiva Lan Rover E/ Plus

(OP)
I've recently been hired at my current company - no one had a manual for this thing and now no users can authenticate when dialing into it - can anyone give me some suggestions on how to fix this problem.  I do have the Shive Access Mgr installed - but am not familiar with it to know where to begin on fixing this problem.

Thanks for your help!

Mike

RE: Shiva Lan Rover E/ Plus

The Shiva Access Manager (SAM) should have came with some step by step instructions.

A couple of things you need to do.  You need to tell the Lan Rover to point to the SAM for authentication.  You must set up the shared secret password on both the Lan Rover and the SAM.

It is not a real straight forward process.  You really need the documentation to set it up.

We have set ours up with a Shiva Access Switch.  The setup for the Lanrover should be similiar.

If you can locate the documentation let me know and I could email it to you.
