Going to bug you guys a little more.  We have Macola 7.5.103e using WMS.  We noticed in our barcoding -> shipping exceptions that we get a few in there.  Under the exception reason we get 'Purchase Order not on file'.  Why would there be a link to a purchase order?  What if the item is a stock item?  We do both stock & special order items.

Also, last friday our warehouse guy got an error 'Overshipment is not allowed'.  This was a backorder, and needed to ship the item, qty. of one.  It wouldn't let him, but in Macola everything seemed ok.  Any ideas on these?

The second question might be better addressed by WMS support but there has been a link between OE and PO for the last few Progression updates.  The idea is that you can have OE automatically create a PO for certain items when they are ordered because you only purchase them when someone buys it from you.

One idea on the second question is that the item is flagged as binned or serial/lotted and you don't have any in stock.  A binned or serial/lotted item cannot go negative in Macola.
