Anyone using ES via terminal server log in to win2k/sp4 or win2003?  Comments pro/con?  I know macola says most TS issues we experienced after microsoft brought out sp3 are now corrected in win2003.  Oddly, though, macola supported platforms & hardware docs for ES don't mention terminal services.  Since programs are installed locally now, would that mean that you would have to have the programs folder for everyone like we have to w/crystal on terminal server?

I can't speak directly to your issue, but I would like to add a note about why the program files for crystal have to be copied for every user on terminal services.  The issue is that the custom user defined functions contained in the DLLs that Macola provides for Crystal are packaged incorrectly.  What I mean by this, is that DLLs come in many different flavors and the type of DLL that Macola created as a container for the user defined functions was not of the correct type.  The limitation of the type of DLL that they created is that the DLL may only be used by a single instance of any given application.  On terminal services every user who uses Crystal creates an instance of the application, so the DLLs have to be copied several times so that each instance is using its own copy of the DLL.

This limitation is unlikely to be repeated for the Macola ES product.
