Hi
I am trying to put in a shared border in the left hand column of my page, but the shared border option is greyed out - why?
TIA

This has happened to me.. even when I put the code in it's still greyed out.. don't know why...

Couple of things to make sure of.

Recalculate links Tools | recalculate Hyperlinks

Check your compatibility settings...

Tools | Page Options | Compatibilty Tab | set all boxes to custom and tick everything click ok and say yes when it asks to refresh your web.

If nothing else works you could try publishing the web to a newly named web..

The last thing to do and the easyiest if you don't want to be bothered with the above is to just inser the code above the head tag..

t = top
l = left
b = bottom

just take out which ones you don't want

<meta name="Microsoft Border" content="tlb">
