You will find a large number of Plex developers on the EDGE user group discussion forums - www.edgeusergroup.org

Here you will be able to do trade tips and techniques with hundreds of members daily.  I am sure you will find someone there who has used Plex extensively and may have an answer for any such question you may have.

Yes,

I have been looking at this forum to see whether there were anything for COOL:Plex.  When Synon owned Obsydian (as it was formerly called), the forum of choice was the Synon-run Synposium.  Sterling Software then bought Obsydian, rebranded it as COOL:Plex, and kept Synposium.

About six months after CA bought Sterling Software, they "stabilized" Synposium as an archive, and attempted to move everything to their forums.  However, their forums were not nearly as user-friendly, and since the Edge (COOL products) user group had a forum which was almost identical to Synposium, all the COOL:Plex activity moved there (www.edgeusergroup.org).

Over the last few days, though, I've been wondering whether a forum such as this one might get broader exposure for Plex.  However, the format is not user-friendly as the Edge forums were.  I say were, because yesterday, Edge switched to new forum software (without consulting the users!), and now it may not be so nice anymore.  However, they're still working out the bugs, so I can't say yet whether this forum would be easier to use.

Do you use the Edge forum?  I don't recognize your handle.

the thing about the edge forum is that it is technically a bit poorer than this one, with multiple postings problems etc. maybe you should point some of the edge lot this way instead.

and yes, I do use the forum, but under a different name.

Hola David,

Como mencioné antes, si vas al sitio Edge www.edgeusergroup.org y seleccionas "Edge forum", encontrarás más ayuda.  Aun hay una sección en español.  Pero ya lo sabrás.

René
