Hello Everyone,
I'm sorry if this has already been covered, The search didn't turn up anything. Anyway, the problem is this. When I animate an object over a number of frames (ie. simply change x value.) and want it to pause in the middle, I put two keyframes in the middle of the animation with some time in between them, each keyframe having the same value (let's say I want it to freeze at x=40). Instead of freezing between the two similar keyframes, there is a certain amount of unwanted movement between them (X will go to 40, then move to 37 then 43 then back to 40). I would much appreciate any help on this as I have been trying to beat this for hours and am on a deadline. Thanks alot in advance.

open up your track view and locate the objects x value in here you will see a curve with your keyframes on it.

Make sure your values are right and adjust your bezier handles to make a corner. Allso what might help is a linear conroller applyed to the x position.

If you want to learn more about track view then the best lesson would be reading the help file (F1) on the subject then just playing with it to see what kind of different things can be done.

Trackview is the ideal way to animate. If you want to animate then you need to know about this.
