Can I establish a vpn connection between Pix and Cisco 2500 series ? Can Cisco 2500 series make a VPN connection. Or I must download a specific IOS ? Thanks. CCNA |

the 2500 needs at the least the IPSec version of the IOS. I have not tried a 2500 myself but it should work. I do know that the 2500 will not support SSH. MikeS Find me at www.packetattack.com

2500's only have 56bit Encryption versions available, whereas all other routers seem to have 128bit as well.
