I Need pin out for the cable beteween the DMID system link jack to aync 1 plug on the CCF board of  Octel 250 system.
I am using the Configuration Notes 5004 ver K. The problem I am having is the message waiting light dose not come on. I

If the MWI light is not comming on, and that is your only problem, (incomming calls work OK, and are answered by the proper greeting) then the cable is not the problem. Make sure you have the system set up just like the config note, and don't forget to enable MWI in the mailbox and on the phone set.

I have not upgraded the system. I removed the link cable. I still can leave messages and listen to the message, but no message waiting light. Yes, I turned on the message light at the mailbox and on the phone.

Have you repowered the DMID ?? or have you reset the rs 232 link on the system?  Also have you looked in the online CDR to see if the octel is turning the lights on or off and the PBX is not doing it ?
