SOAP client on AIX.

I am new to SOAP. I would like to gather more information as to what is needed to sucessfully access a HTTP web service from an AIX client.

I am looking for answer on software development tools and libraries that are specific for a AIX 5.1 client.

Any lead or links to start on this direction would greatly help.
