hi,
I'm new in the AS area, when i want to see a cube (any cube, including the foodMarts2000) i get an error "Unable to display the cube until it has been processed.(Unspecified error)". in short - i can't see cubes.

i processed the cubes and it didn't help, then i removed the program (also from the registry) and made a second set up and still the same problem occurs.

i'm using version 8.00.194 and windows xp pro.

in another computer i made a set up and everything went well.

any ideas?

Hi,

I got that problem because I installed the AS after SQL2K SP2.  It seems that the original AS overwrites some DLLs and they are out of sync.

To learn more details.
Go to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;297232

Latest SP is SP3a.   That should fix the out-of-sync DLLs.
