There is an orange light blinking on and off consistently on the server. The icon/symbol for the LED light is something like the following

-^-

There is one LED light for the hard disk (container symbol)
and then the other LED light is a data spike.

The LED is blinking consistently. Is this something I should worry about? I could not find any info in the documentation.

TechInNeed,

This is directly from the Dell users guide for the PowerEdge 2500.

"The ESM indicator indicates a power problem, a fan/temperature problem, a hard drive problem, or that the PCI expansion cards need attention."

If you have the Dell Openmanage software installed that will tell you where the system fault lies. This software should come with your server.
