I have a IBM Optical Controller wich runs OS/2. I'm trying to copy files from this optical to a pc.
I can see the Optical controller from the PC that I'm copying the files to, but when I use the Filecopy() API I get a message "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service".
I tried to change the virual memory in the PC to 300 mb but no luck.
Please help!!

Thanks.

If the optical drive is on an OS/2 server take a look at your resources like maxsessions or connections in the PROTOCOL.ini file that is located in the IBMCOM dir.  If it it OS/2 Warp server v4.0 or OS/2 Warp Server for eBusiness, try the tuning assistant. I beleive it is in the system setup folder.

If the Transfer works for a while and then you get the error take a look in the OS/2 FAQ.  There is a solution for a resource problem listed as a NET3101 error.

good luck.
