Where in the world do Tek-Tips members come from?

Hi All!

SC3.0 sp5

This is odd. we want ot add a new user (KNIGHT_A), but SC tells me that that user already has a profile. So, we tried deleting the user, but he is not visible in the drop down list. Next we tried editing the user (so that we could re-add him later), and we are prompted "This user already has a profile do you want to edit it?" We clicked <YES> and nothing happens!

Any ideas why we can't edit, add or delete this user?

Thanks

birklea

As far as I can tell....he's not even in a profile, so I'm reluctant to remove one, since other users are in it!

Thanks

Further to the server being backed up overnight, the user has now appeared. No further action needed. Strange huh?

depend on how sc handle lists, sometimes a list are expired ( wrong values ) , you can perform a refresh :
from the command prompt try :

*aapm.server.initer
*aapm.global.initer
