removing programs

One of my citrix users installed a program called hotbar for outlook. I cannot remove this due to uninstall errror. What is the procedure to remove a program if a user downloaded to his/her profile and installed it from there. I am using NT 4.0 terminal server, with metaframe 1.8. |

Normally it's the same as removing anything else - but Hotbar is a pain in the "you know where" to remove. Try a search from Google to find out removal techniques, but I think it is a "Search & Destroy" through the file system and registry (HKLM & HKCU for all users affected). Then, ban www.hotbar.com with your firewall/content filtering solution if possible. Cheers, Sam

Hotbar has its own special uninstaller that you have to dig around on there site to find. It is the worst kind of ad-ware, and spyware. JON |
