HI I have a problem here. I have an application thats developed using ASP, VB(6.0) SQlServer7.0. THe business components are developed in Vb on win2k system. When i deploy the same DLL's on winnt server with optionpack4.0, it started giving me problems (Like unable to recognize the methods in DLL's Classes). My question is do the components make any difference in anyway developing on Winsk environement and deploying on WINNT server.

Thanks in advance..

I dealt with this issue a couple of years ago moving our stuff from nt4 to win2k.  If I remember correctly, you must compile your vb on the same os version as you deploy in this situation.  The reason is when compiling it on Win2K, it is being compiled against the COM+ type library.  When compile it on the NT4 box, it is being compiled against the MTS type library.

Chris.
