On a report we are running we are getting errors with a grant total being incorrect. When the same figures are read into excel the grand total is correct - any ideas what we could be doing wrong?

You are probably doing group selection, TopN or conditonal suppression of details.  These are the usual culprits.  Is your total high or low?

Hello Kenhamady
the total is too low.

How are you creating the grand total?

If it's a Running Total, perhaps there's a Evaluate Use a Formula on it which is incorrect.

Post some example data, example of the current result, and the expected result.

If it is too low it isn't the problem that I mentioned.
Do you have multiple tables?  Maybe an equal join is eliminating records that you need.
How did you add the grand total, ie which menu commands?
