address family not supported by protocol family??

I keep getting the error "address family not supported by protocol family", after getting my unix box up and running on my network. I used dhclient, and I have a cisco 675 router for dsl serving DHCP. I'm really lost here, so any help is greatly appreciated. The network seems to work fine, but I'd like to solve whatever problem is causing this!
