How do I find my Physcial Network Node ID?

I'm trying to set my router to give me a fixed IP address so I can use my computer as a server for my domain name. It asks me for the "Physcial Network Node ID" and the fixed IP address (192.168.10.xxx).

My question: what is a Node ID, and how can I find out the Physical Network Node ID for my computer?

I'm am using:
Win 98 (not the SE)
ZOT IE100 router
Xitami Web Server
Terayon Cable Modem
W Linx Mini-Hub

My internet connection works fine... I only need to set my computer with a fixed IP.

if your Physical Network Node ID is the MAC address, then at the MSDOS prompt, type WINIPCFG /ALL and it should list the Physical Address.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Thanks Jim for your quick response.

I've already looked at winipcfg but only after closer inspection did I notice that the "Adapter Address" is given in a similar format a default setting in the fixed IP addresses list in the router config.

i.e. the Node ID in the format xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx was the same as my Network Address, except with colons : instead of hypens -

Anyway... it's all good now. Thanks for the help!
