prevent direct linking to images from outside site

Is there an easy way to prevent other users from copying the URL of an image on my site, and then using it on another site or setting the image as a favourite? Miles busymiles@lan-house.net |

I've discovered this works if all your images are in a single folder. For other configurations, you might need to tweak it a bit. SetEnvIf Referer "^ http://www.example.com/" local_referal # Allow browsers that do not send Referer info SetEnvIf Referer "^$" local_referal <Directory /web/images> Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from env=local_referal </Directory> See also http://apachetoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2000-06-14-002-01-PSI like the look of that .htaccess solution too ;) thanks!
