Can't get tabloid paper to print correctly

I'm using a PS RIP software w/ the cp1700 printer. They don't give you a paper size choice of tabloid!! There's every other oddball size under the sun, but no tabloid. If I set it to custom & entr the dimensions, it will only print on about the top 1/4 of the page. If I try to trick it & put in A3, which is the closest to tabloid that they offer, that doesn't work either.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated--I really hate this printer!

try loading new drivers, check in the install feature to make sure you're installing ALL of the options. Common to do a TYPICAL install instead of a CUSTOM install. Many programs don't load tabloid layouts in TYPICAL mode and you'll have to reinstall your applications (as in Office, PageMaker) with all options checked to run from the computer. Try it!
