Changing nested report properties at run time

rt63 (IS/IT--Management)

I have a code something like this

for li_ctr = 1 to dw_0.RowCount()
     dw_0.object.dw_1[li_ctr].object.cust_cd.Background.Color = '255 ~t If('+string(65000 - li_ctr*4000)+' > 60000, 255, 0)'
     dw_0.object.dw_1[li_ctr].object.cust_cd.Background.Mode = 0
next

dw_1 is a nested report object (in details band) containing cust_cd column. According to the above code, the background color for this column in nested report should be red for only the first row in the base report but it makes it in all nested rows. It seems to be working for only the first row in the base report. I have tried using a hardcoded value as dw_1[2] but then it does not even change for the second row in the base report. Any clues on what could be the problem?
