Can a Compaq DLT 35/70 work on a HP9000 D-class server?
We are actually purchasing a DLT8000. And we are looking at the option of using the DLT 8000 to backup on a DLT7000 format, since what is available in our DR site is a Compaq DLT 35/70 (being used by a Compaq server).

Do we need special driver/s or patches?

Any insight is highly appreciated...
