quarkxpress and adobe distiller.. how?

Deal People,

Currently I'm using Adobe Distiller to generate pdf files from eps ones, which was saved through QuarkXpress.
But everytime I tried to open these pdf files, they will show erorr messages: file.pdf File may be in use, while I it actually hasn't been touched at all.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Creating EPS's from Quark and then PDFing them is not the best way to do this, cause the correct fonts are not used within the EPS. How about creating Postscript files into a watched folder for distiller!!!

If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
