It only happens on this one ...

Incoming mail is received without any problems. However, cannot send email. ISP gave several SMTP addresses to try out (that failed) then said that it could be a outlook and windows issue.

Is this true? If so, what can I do about it?

When you send mail, does your default server match the ISP you log onto?

The reason I ask is because I had that problem and I also have several ISP connections (most of them are free *G*), and if send an email but am not connected to my default account, I get rejected.

If this the case, you can change the SMTP on the fly by clicking (while you have the message open you are sending by the way) View - Options - Send message using ... There you will see what your SMTP server your message will be sent to and you can change it to the default if you need to!

Try remaking the account and using the ip address for the mailservers which will resolve any dns resolution problems. Also do what Telsa said because you wont be able to use the outgoing mailserver of an isp if you are dialed into another isp...that would just be opening up the isp who is hosting the smtp server to all sorts of bandwidth issues.
