Can any one please specify what is a PICK system?
What are its features and how to perform import/export data from/to Pick system?

Thankyou very much.

A PICK system is a database. I don't have enough room or time to go into it's features, but it is a good database. If you want to import or export data from or to the PICK system, then look at the previous post on this forum about import/export.

The easiest way of dealing with external data in a Pick system is by means of a type 1 file. This will allow you to treat a text file as a record in Pick. Simply create a file of type 1 called MYFILE and then drop down to unix and go cd MYFILE If you vi or ftp a text file into this sub directory you will be able to edit it back at TCL as well. Hope this helps.
