Hi all. I need help.  i tried to create a include file and a text file in html help. But when i tried to map the file, and then click on o.k button i got the error message. Html help would not let me create the two files.  Can anyone show me how to create the what's this help question mark that i can hook up with an application.  Thanks

Hi nguyen12

Nice to see a relevent question in this forum !
HTML workshop implements [MAP] sections very badly. The only real way is to edit the project file directly.
If you look back in the forum you will see pervious answers I gave to this question, and links to a Microsoft artical on the subject.

As for connecting to program, this depends on the programming language you are using.
I write Windows programs in Delphi and use a 3rd Party component called 'EHSHelp router' to enable HTML help, part of the EHS suite is a 'Whats This?' add on that does what you require. If you use a different language I suggest you ask the question in the relevent forum.

Hope this helps Steve.
