Hi.
I am a new user of Rational Rose and I was assigned to own a design model.  I was wondering what the Rose Administrator and Synchronizer does in terms of model management. Like, how can these be utilized when there is a big team of designers? How is this connected to the Rose Model (class diagrams, sequence diagrams)? Can Administrator setup users and access levels to the packages?

You can partition your model into "controlled units". Each package in Rose can be a unit. Units are stored into separate files (.cat, .sub) and should be managed by a version control system. Each team member can check out and work exclusive on one unit.

Read the help files in Rose. It is fairly good to give you at least ideas of how to work in a "team development" environement. Units is the way to go. Read up on "petal file" for the break down in the help.

Want to web publish activity diagrams, but do not want to use the tree diagram generated by the Rose Web Publish option, want to be able to publish any or all activity diagrams. Work around?
