Micros KDS have to restart services?

Micros KDS have to restart services?

Res 5.4 KDS keeps stopping have to restart Micros KDS service on the server. Happening 4-5 times a day. Have two other stores with same version micros and dB with no issues?? Micros helpless desk fails in and look to say well everything looks OK. That is the answer with no solution,,

RE: Micros KDS have to restart services?

What Win are you running on?

If 7 Pro, first thing I'd check...is the binding order of your NICs.

RE: Micros KDS have to restart services?

Ah yes.. This server does have 2 NIC and Win7 pro. I will try this and report back here if that's the solution.

RE: Micros KDS have to restart services?

So I checked the binding order and it was correct. I have disabled the second nic and condition is better but still have to restart the service couple times a day. Thoughts?? Thanks
