Call distribution issue/P2P Question

Call distribution issue/P2P Question

(OP)
Hi all

I had An issue recently with a DT333 on a ns700.

The 333 has an ICD key, the group is set to distribute/ring

Problem I had was when I take a group call the second group call waiting shows on intercom key. With this setup another group call would normally queue but only show on the ICD key if it was free. but this is what happens, the 543s I had on site same setup work as they should ie shows one group call a time.

Anyone had this issue, tried to replicate the fault on a test system but doesn’t do it.

Question i have on P2P is i understand ip set to ip set will use a direct connection phone to phone and drop out the DSP, how would i disable that so that i was forcing it to use the dsp card for testing purposes? would i just change the P2P Group in each extension so they dont match?

Also does the Panasonic support RTP relay on sip trunks ie of ip extn and Trunk on same codec will it drop out the DSP card so that no DSP ports are used ? On basis codecs match ?
