RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

We need a lot more info.

What type of trunks?
What type of phones?
What do you see now?
What do you want to see, and why?
Do you use an ARS code to dial externally?
Software version of the IP office?
All other details that might look relevant to you.

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

The system displays caller ID as it receives it, it cannot be manipulated beyond adding prefixes smile

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

First things first : BASIC or Essential edition?

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

It's an avaya ip office essential edition 9.1.2

The phone is showing the caller number and the line number successively Adjoining
without any separation between them

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

Please type excatly what you see. Or make a picture of it.

Also, post a screendump of the trunk settings.

Remove the Line number (Numero de telephon) from the trunk configuration. or even try putting a "-" in before it

My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

Remove the name of the line or add a > before it or a space as a separator.

Intigrant, that's not what I meant. I was referring to the seagull nature of the original post; swoops in, grabs what it wants and flies off again

Right, as many posters here. I cannot think we have a name for these kind of people, well at least not a decent one....

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

I like the seagull comparison smile

No, that was my old Seagull Manager - flies in, makes a lot of noise, cr*ps on everything, and flies away

RE: Hello Tek-tips, i have an avay

>No, that was my old Seagull Manager

My analogy was adapted from that one...
