Avaya - PMS Post - No Post Feature

Avaya - PMS Post - No Post Feature

(OP)
Dear all,

Our Customer is complaining regarding the Post and No Post function in Opera PMS is not working with Avaya CM 7.
can anybody help me how to enable this feature from CM side ?
we have 3 COR's created in CM as below.
COR-21 Local
COR-22 National
COR-23 International
when the guest checkout from the room the COR should automatically move to COR-21. currently this is not happening, so even if the room is vacant still other people can make calls from the room.

can anybody HELP me....

RE: Avaya - PMS Post - No Post Feature

can it change the cor from 21 to 23 on checkin?

any doc you followed for the integration? Short of anything else, I'd guess the emulated/analog/DCP phones on your PMS use the "Change COR" feature code and might be missing console permissions in their COS to do it. "display events" of type "denial" against some of those PMS extensions and see if you've got denial events for them changing the COR. And/or nobody's paying hotel long distance anyways and the CORs were always "local" only and noone ever noticed :)

thanks for you replay kyle555

no it is not working both ways. only thing is, when the guest check-in they should be able to make calls and when the guest check-out it should be disabled. don't know which feature to enable in CM for PMS to understand.
as you advised i will check the Console permissions and Denial events.

thanks a lot!
