Voicemail Pro 9.1.9 Variable Routing $Weekday

Voicemail Pro 9.1.9 Variable Routing $Weekday

(OP)
I am trying to setup a Variable Routing module in Voicemail Pro using the $WEEKDAY variable.

I can get Monday through Saturday working just fine, either using 1-6 or by entering the actual name of the day (Monday or MO, Tuesday or TU, etc).

The issue is with Sunday, it won't work with 7,0, Sunday, SU, or even No Match.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!
Jon

Run a Verbose trace on VM Pro while using it in a flow and it will show what the value is.

I would copy the value of $WEEKDAY to a user variable which value can be observed in the VM Client which is a lot easier to read as the logging.

Or you should be able to put $WEEKDAY as the prompt on any action and it'll spit it out via voice. I don't think it even needs an advanced edition license to do it.

Thanks for the help - turns out that Sunday is O (not 0/zero). Setting the $WEEKDAY as the prompt on a generic action was super easy and I could change the date on the computer to have it spit out the number variable for each day.
For reference it is:
O - Sunday
1 - Monday
2 - Tuesday
3 - Wednesday
4 - Thursday
5 - Friday
6 - Saturday

I'll have to try to see if it works with a zero as well, but that will have to wait until I can play with the system after hours tonite.

Thanks again!
Jon

O ???? Well, that makes perfect sense =)

RE: Voicemail Pro 9.1.9 Variable Routing $Weekday

She says "Oh" instead of "Zero" when reading back something like $DDI, so I'd bet it really is 0 not O

RE: Voicemail Pro 9.1.9 Variable Routing $Weekday

Haha
I bet it started as a typo in the system that nobody has had the time (or willingness) to fix and seeing that it is rarely used it was most likely forgotten at one point.
Open a IPOSS ticket with Avaya and see how long it takes them to figure it out banghead
