More TN corruption

More TN corruption

(OP)
Bare with me please, this printout is a little long. Can anyone (who has alot of time) let me know where they think the issue is? We seem to get data corruption every now and then, which we thought we had just cleared out. A few days later and we are getting bug codes on the same suspect TN's. I now have them built as OOSMLT so we do not use them again. Below, a change was made to TN 2-3, but after that, TN 2-2 was affected somehow and was put into CUST 32. There is no cust 32. DN 2825 is now a mystery since it can not be built, and it can not be printed out either. Thanks!

RE: More TN corruption

(OP)
Thank you for reading all of that! This is old, it's on rls 25.40B(11C) The last reboot was a few days ago, 8/17.
I will get the DAT info and paste it as soon as I can get it. Another note, after every reboot we can not do a EDD until I do a EDD CLR..just throwing that out there lol

RE: More TN corruption

Usually a EDD CLR after a reboot will remove any corruption. However, I think your problem is a little more serious. Try and do a standard "EDD" afterwards, but on the reboot, capture all the data as I think you might have a bunch of "SYS" messages.

Check with "DAT" each time a EDD or EDD CLR is done to be sure that the data has saved OK. I've known this NOT to happen!.

You might want to consider doing a "RES" in LD 43 to do a restore from the backup held on the CPU and it all depends on what has been going on.

In LD 22, do ISSP to see if the system has any active patches enabled. Again, it is possible that they have all disabled and need enabling again.

RE: More TN corruption

(OP)
EDD after reboot gives me a no go bad data. I am then able to do a edd clr though. I did get some sys errors on two extensions in the past after reboot, 2825 was one of them. I'd have to look them up and post, as well as the DAT and the ISSP. I am pretty sure when I checked the ISSP all patches were enabled, but it is worth a check. Thanks!

Do you see anything that jumps out in these bug codes besides tn 2-2 being put into customer 32?

RE: More TN corruption

The DAT command looks fine, but in LD 43 try using "RES" and "SWP" to check that the databases can swap OK. The patches look OK.

In the UK, the last issued version were

Yours don't look to be much different and therefore shouldn't be a cause of the problems.

What I would do is to capture all the TN data. Reboot the Option 11c. Delete any SYS message data that relates to the effected TN's. Do a EDD or EDD CLR etc. Reboot the system again to see if it has reduced the number of SYS messages.

Try or let the system do a EDD if 43 is set in OVLY. Once you are happy, Add back in the deleted TN data.

RE: More TN corruption

I just got a sys3011 0 0 2 on my reboot. Not sure what that points to but I am outing all data on my digital card in slot 2, then reload and then rebuild it, after edd

RE: More TN corruption

SYS3011 means..

The expected number of card records not received from storage medium.

Severity: Critical

I would agree with you that card slot 002 is where the problem is. I hope you manage to resolve it.
