AVAYA IP 500 Programming for immediate Ring for simple trunk

AVAYA IP 500 Programming for immediate Ring for simple trunk

(OP)
Dear,

I setup AVAYA IP office 500. I want to understand how to setup immediate ring for simple Trunk Line.

RE: AVAYA IP 500 Programming for immediate Ring for simple trunk

Ok. I'll bite. PSTN, ISDN or SIP?

Genitally, you would place your trunks in an incoming line group- say 10.
Program an incoming call route for line group id 10/ incoming did- none. Select destination> main

Select the main group and select collective call waiting. Select members. Add members and leave their boxes ticked.
File>save>merge.
Enjoy the golden ringiness.

Yes. isn't that what the contact closure port is for? bigglasses

RE: AVAYA IP 500 Programming for immediate Ring for simple trunk

Take the user out of the 200 main. Go to buttons and assign the trunk. You will see ring options there.

No do NOT do this. Line appearances are garbage and cause issues. Program the system correctly.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
